Mel has been doing stand up for 9 months. She refuses to tell me her age but looking at her I would say she is somewhere between 11 and 74.
She loves comedy in all forms and her influences are wide-ranging. She likes to see any stand up who is performing well, be they famous or not.
Her material is rather diverse and is a mixture of one liners and story telling. Her young son and not so young husband are the source of a lot of her material. Whilst she adores them both they do not fare well when she is on stage. Her husband in particular must be a very understanding chap.
She has performed at many gigs throughout the North of England.
Mel swears a lot and can be extremely rude. If members of the audience don't find her funny she is happy for them to just look at her breasts while she is on stage.
